The International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH) is the world’s largest conference dedicated to healthcare simulation with 250 sessions, and is considered to be the premier educational and networking event for the healthcare simulation community.
In 2017, the conference theme was “Patients: The Heart of Simulation.” IMSH’s design challenge for GRAPHEK was to ensure that the multi-faceted conference campaign evoked emotion, encouraged attendance and built excitement among prospective and registered attendees. Knowing that our client prioritizes the patient above all, GRAPHEK understood that patient stories had to take center stage. A heartbeat line embedded in the type conveyed that patients are what ultimately makes the conference possible, and the circulating pattern and warm-tone colors conveyed the camaraderie, networking, sharing and connections that are integral to a successful conference.
The conference proved to be a major success, with record-breaking attendance, representation from 54 countries and a sold-out exhibit hall. Two social media ads reached more than 25,000 people and garnered 466 click-throughs, and Facebook engagement increased 39.2 percent in just one month’s time.
