Lilia LaGesse

senior creative strategist

One could say that Lilia has been a graphic designer since childhood. After winning a poster competition for the local fire station and designing her first logo (potato carving and finger paint were involved) in grade school, she was hooked. And with the introduction of the Macintosh, her interests quickly shifted to designing on the computer.

As a proud alumna of Northwestern University and the University of Baltimore, Lilia brings her midwestern friendliness and a unique blend of fine arts training, communications strategy, and design thinking to all of her creative projects. Spanning print, digital, and video mediums, her projects range from publications layout to art directing award-winning PR campaigns. She is passionate about making the world’s knowledge more easily accessible and understandable through bold, exciting design that not only educates but inspires.

When not strategizing with the GRAPHEK team, Lilia is an avid traveler and can often be found exploring a new museum, watching foreign films, and searching for the latest pair of nerdy eyeglasses to add to her collection.
