For as long as she could remember, Courtney has always found freedom in the arts. She has explored her creativity through various mediums, which include theatre, dance, painting, sculpture, photography and of course, design. Her passion for graphic design developed from her natural instinct to problem-solve and brainstorm creative solutions. Courtney has made it a goal to create work that enhances everyday life and fosters engagement for diverse audiences.
Courtney was born and raised in Fort Washington, Maryland and calls the “DMV” home. Her academic career started at Towson University, where she received a BFA in Art & Design. She has also attained an MFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Her design education and experience has equipped her with the skillsets to impact local communities with meaningful design. For Courtney, the creative process is deeply rooted in story-telling and extracting an honest narrative for viewers to digest.
In addition to design, she thoroughly enjoys traveling, listening to music, and working with her hands. She keeps busy outside the office by taking on personal DIY projects, like jewelry-making and screen printing.
